About

In the far flung year of 20XX, a mysterious facility has been trailblazing the DNA frontier of Dubious Sciences for many decades now. 30 years ago, a scientist of dubious morals fled her workplace, hiding her biggest project away from the clutches of the other dubious scientists. Now a grown man, said project currently lives in the metropolitan area of Town City, working tirelessly to keep the people he cares about safe from the many dangers of evil-doers and villainy.

SCAVENGERVERSE is a long-term passion project -- a webcomic about superheroes and supervillains, and the interweaving lives they lead. The worldbuilding of the comic is a love letter to all sorts of comicbook superhero antics, particularly the really sincerely written ones; the ones that know that what they're writing is maybe objectively a bit silly, but they're still entirely capable of writing really compelling characters and stories for their audiences. That said, Antonio does operate a bit on Rule of Funny, so if you have any complaints about something goofy in the worldbuilding not making some kind of objective sense, please wuickly send me an email VERY urgently right here: www.yahoo

The creators of SCAVENGERVERSE, Latimer and Antonio, are just some transmasc Guys™ that live with a cat and a chihuahua and also some cool bugs. We're both writers and artists, so we decided to team up to bring our collaborative passion project to life! We have a habit of working out all the details in our projects much too finely, too perfectionist to actually be practical, so we're finally just taking the plunge right into it with this webcomic. Many of these characters have been around for the larger part of a decade, and are very beloved to us. A lot of the themes and values of the comic are almost certainly going to reflect our lives and experiences, and we can't wait to share them with everyone else. [NOTE FOR LATER ME: image could be frill and scrap?]

Latimer (he/they) is the main storywriter of SCAVENGERVERSE, but also works with concept art, outline and script detailing, and the occasional contribution to coloring for the webcomic. Latimer has a flair for the spicy (18+), and has lots of fun writing our characters make out like barbies. He brings a more serious angle to the story and characters, fleshing out the bulk of the dramatic and compelling storylines and arcs.

Antonio (any pronouns) is the main webcomic artist of SCAVENGERVERSE, but also works with concept writing, thumbnailing, and the occasional script adjustments for the webcomic. I bring a more lighthearted and whimsical flair to the story and characters, operating largely on 'rule of funny'. I also put together (and now operate) this website :)
